I'm sure many of you have noticed that B.N has been down for two and a half months. The reason behind our sudden and unexpected hiatus was because of an ongoing issue we had with our domain provider. After many many emails and phone calls, we were finally able to fix things and are now happy to say that we are back in business!
Now that we're back, we're looking for staff members again. We need news reporters and content writers! Only apply if you can dedicate your time to the site. Check out how to apply by clicking here.

Cristopher Paolini has announced that he will be releasing two books and no neither of them is the fourth in the cycle but should be loved by Inheritance fans. The first book announced is "Brisingr: Deluxe Edition".
This book is exactly the same as Brisingr itself but will contain:
Two never before seen scenes that were taken out of the released editions.
An exclusive, full-color foldout poster of the Lethrblaka by John Jude Palencar.
Never-before-seen art by Christopher Paolini.
A guide to dwarf runes, written by Christopher Paolini.
The book cover and book spine will contain areas of golden foil.
The book will be released October 23rd of this year. You may pre-order it for $19.99 at Amazon. If you wait for it to be released you will lose your chance on this price and will have to pay about 10 dollars more.
The second book to be released is "Eragon's Guide to Alagaesia".
This book is framed as a "gift" to the readers from Eragon himself. It will give you information about the lands of Alagaesia with the races that live within them. These races includes Dragons, Humans, Urgals, Dwarves, and Elves. This book will be released November 3rd and will cost $24.99 unless you pre-order from Amazon for $16.99.
As a side note of my own opinion these books may be the reason why we have not heard a possible release date on the fourth book but my opinion in no way changes how good these books sound.
Sorry everyone about not having anything recent to post for news. You don't know how many times I have read about a book title or release date that I had to follow a network trail only to find that the recent news I had found was just a spoof. I promise that if there is anything to be known about the upcoming books or any other material you will be sure to know about it.
We're a couple days behind on this news post, but it is still relatively new! It seems that a Facebook group recently published a cover that featured a green dragon and the title "Eldunari" that many people thought to believe was the official cover art and title of the final installment in the Inheritance Cycle. The following comment was published on the official website:
Quote:It has recently come to our attention that a Facebook group has posted a title and cover for Book 4 in the Inheritance Cycle. Please note that this is not the official cover and title for Book 4 and was not created by the publisher. The book and title for Book 4 have not yet been announced.
Also, we have been receiving emails by people who seem to believe that we are either Christopher himself or Random House. We are NOT either and we are not even affiliated with either. We are only a fansite. Also, we will NOT be sending out individual emails to people who ask that we notify them when Book 4's title, cover and release date are released. If you wish to be notified on the spot, you should join the B.N, as we will send out a newsletter when this happens (which probably won't be for a few years), or you should follow us on Twitter.

The Brisingr Network is proud to announce its first ever community-driven project, an open letter to Christopher Paolini. To put it in a nutshell, members and even nonmembers of the Brisingr Network will be compiling twenty questions and thoughts to send to Christopher Paolini, who is, of course, the author of the Inheritance Cycle. This is an open call to all of the fans of the Inheritance Cycle. You do not have to be a member of the B.N to participate,: however, registered and active members will find that they have a better chance of getting their questions and ideas included in the letter.
Our letter will open with a paragraph of appreciation for the novels that Christopher has spent so much time writing. The main body and bulk of the letter, however, will be composed of questions thought out by fans. We will be including a total of twenty questions. We will only choose the ones we feel are the best and "answerable." For instance, we will not accept questions such as "What is the title of book four?" or "Is Eragon going to die?" We encourage members to submit well thought-out questions only! Anyone may submit as many questions as they want - there is no limit!
Hello, and welcome to the Brisingr Network (The B.N for short).
As a fan outlet, we're focused on bringing the fans of the Inheritance
Cycle together by providing interactive services & news updates such
as our Forums, our
Oekaki, or even our
Chat.
